Congratulations on your new home! By choosing a Maverick-approved builder, you’ve partnered with a team that meets our standards for quality and construction practices. As a result, we’re proud to provide a third-party warranty to protect your investment.
Materials, workmanship, systems and structure — it’s all covered.
During your home’s warranty period, your builder stands behind the quality of construction, and Maverick provides an added layer of protection. Your home is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, as outlined in the Warranty Performance Standards, as well as defects in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, as defined in the warranty coverage.
1-Year Workmanship
The one-year workmanship warranty offers surety-style coverage that supports the builder’s warranty for defects in materials and workmanship. If any covered components fail to meet the established Construction Performance Standards during the first year, they will be repaired, replaced, or you may be reimbursed for the cost of repair or replacement.
2-Year Systems
The two-year systems warranty provides surety-style coverage that reinforces the builder’s warranty for defects in electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilation, and other mechanical systems. If any covered components fail to meet the established Construction Performance Standards within the first two years, they will be repaired, replaced, or you may be reimbursed for the cost of repair or replacement.
10-Year Structural
The ten-year structural warranty provides direct coverage beginning at closing for major structural defects. If a covered defect affects a designated load-bearing element of the home during the 10-year term, Maverick will repair or replace the issue, or cover the cost of repair.
